Alliance for Student Achievement A group of 10 state organizations whose purpose is to speak with one voice on pre K-12 education policies and issues, with the goal of improving student achievement in Minnesota.
Education Minnesota An organization of 70,000 educators doing what it takes to help students succeed. Members work in every academic level from pre-kindergarten through postsecondary education, including teachers, counselors, food service workers, bus drivers, custodians, social workers, psychologists, therapists, clerical employees, education assistants and professors, among others.
Minnesota Association of School Administrators A professional association that represents the needs of more than 600 school superintendent, special education directors, and other administrators and service providers.
Minnesota Association of Secondary School Principals A professional educational association serving more than 1,100 Minnesota secondary school administrators.
Minnesota Business for Early Learning A 200-member organization of CEOs, senior executives and business leaders representing more than 100 companies and organizations focused on the role of business in the early learning and school readiness of pre-kindergarten children.
Minnesota Department of Education The state education agency overseeing Minnesota education, including pre-K and K-12 students, adult learners, school districts and licensed teachers.
Minnesota Elementary School Principals’ Association A statewide association serving more than 950 elementary and middle level principals.
Minnesota Office of Higher Education A cabinet-level state agency providing students with financial aid programs and information to help them gain access to post-secondary education.
Minnesota PTA An organization of parents and teachers that supports and speaks on behalf of children and youth; helps parents develop the skills they need to raise and protect their children; and encourages parent and public involvement in the public schools.
Minnesota School Boards Association The purpose of the association is to support, promote and enhance the work of public school boards.
Minnesota State Colleges and Universities The system of 32 Minnesota postsecondary institutions, including 25 two-year colleges and seven state universities, separate from the University of Minnesota.
